Best Weight Loss Workout for Newbies

Most people, who are overweight or obese, are dreaming of weight loss. However, it is fairly difficult. Consequently, they tend to do a heavy workout straight away. If you are a beginner to physical activities, your body will want some time to adapt for exercise. Your heart, blood vessels, muscles, lungs, and other organ systems will take time to adjust themselves for your workout plan. Otherwise, your body may get injuries and exhausted soon. Therefore, you should start your workout with mild intensity physical activities for a shorter duration a day. Later, you can increase the intensity and the duration of exercise gradually. It is recommended to start with walking, running, jogging, mild to moderate intensity sports, and low-impact aerobics for beginners. Starting with mild intensity workout help you adhere to the exercise plan and lose body weight effectively. It usually avoids frustration.

Walking is a good option to burn calories without exhausting. Begin with brisk walking for 10-15 minutes per day, at least five days per week. Gradually, increase the duration of walking up to 30-45 minutes per day. You can use a treadmill or go outside as you wish. The speed of brisk walking is roughly 3-3.5 mph (4.8-5.6 km/h). Brisk walking burns about three to four times higher amount of calories than rest, if you walk on a flat surface.

Jogging is a moderate-intensity physical activity. It burns more calories compared to brisk walking. Jogging on a flat surface helps you burn seven times higher amount of calories compared to rest. Jogging can be done on a treadmill or outside.

Low-impact aerobics is another option for beginners, who wish to lose body weight. Low-impact aerobic activities include exercise, which results in coordinated, continuous, rhythmic movements of large muscle groups of your body. They also help improve strength and health of your heart as well as lungs.

Sometimes, you may feel that your traditional workout plan is a boring task. Then, sports like football, basketball, badminton, and tennis are great options because, they will help you to enjoy while losing your body weight.
